I admit, layout is nice. Default theme is so bright, it is almost like a flashlight. To change it, there are 3 options totaling $21. Why such unreasonable price?

Very clean and functional interface. Feels natural. Nice color themes. Support for Fever could be better, no Hot list, no mark as read on scroll, cant see sparks, so I just use Unread on phone, not ipad (mr. Reader best ipad app). But, unread is the best for phone due to the clean UI and natural gestures. Great app

Would be fantastic for the next version of Unread to support iOS 9 features, especially including Safari View Controller!

Readability is not worked with more sites .

This app runs unstable among my most used apps. I encounter crashes maybe once per day. Inconsistent slide happened since I purchased this app. After several updates it still sticks out there. I appreciate the UI design and elegant themes. As far as the lame performance hasnt prevented me from using and loving this app, I rated two stars. Hope the developer could cope with the codes and fix the bugs soon.

Good app, but I regret paying for the in app pro version, heres why: 1 - you cant search for new feeds, or even add or remove current feeds. So you basically have to buy a second news reader app just to manage your feeds. 2 - After downloading a separate news feed app to manage my feeds, I discovered that many of the feeds in the "unread" app do not show their image thumbnails in the article lists but the other app shows all thumbnail images. The thumbnails are either broken and just show a place holder, or they dont show up at all. This is crucial since a lot of what people use rss readers for is skimming headlines and looking at their corresponding thumbnails. Until this is fixed I cant recommend this app at all unless you dont care about images in all of your feeds or managing your feeds. Till this is fixed its a deal breaker for me, I regret my in app purchase. I hope this is fixed soon.

Its a well-designed app that does everything Id want an RSS reader to do, so in theory it should have been an easy 5-stars. That said, not all of my Feedly feeds show up in the Unread articles feed, but will show up individually. This isnt ideal by any means and not what Id expect out of an app I paid for. I emailed support and reached out on Twitter. I have yet to receive a response of any kind to help me solve this issue. Between the issue itself, which is a pretty significant one, and the lack of support from the developer, Id suggest looking elsewhere for your RSS needs.

This was a superb app, emphasis on WAS. I have a self-hosted Fever° server for my feeds and Unread was working great on iOS 8, but upon upgrading it no longer works properly. I was patient and emailed support the support team over the past few weeks and was willing to give them a tip as indicated on the In-App purchases, but they’ve decided to ignore my emails and tweets to them. I’m sure this app will work for non-Fever° RSS servers, but if you’ve got a Fever° sever, beware that it probably will not work for you and you won’t get the necessary support to get it working.

Honestly it looked pretty and I would have bought the IAP just based on that - but unfortunately it doesnt support InoReader, so as a whole the app is less than useless for me.

I love it on my iPhone but it looks terrible on iPad Pro. Please update soon !

1. inoReader not supportable 2. The current interface makes me crazy when having more than 100 articles. I just need to see the content I have Interest , but not abstract and picture of all articles.

Hands down the best RSS reader on iOS.

Im glad to see my favorite RSS reader get an update for iOS9. The Safari View Controller is an especially nice addition. In the future, it would be nice to see the app gain some 3D Touch features. Dont forget to tip your devs!

Unread has been my favorite RSS reader for quite a while. The update to have it open links in Safari makes it perfect in my estimation. Great stuff!

Love this app, my favorite RSS reader on iOS now. Please add subscription management if feasible! Hoping that there are more one-tap sharing options at some point (shouldnt take two taps to send to pocket, for instance.) Gets better with each release.

The continued support for unread is amazing. The features in the latest release - iPad pro support and safari view support - are most welcome. If you really use your feed reader, this is the one to get.

Unread is clean, simple (w/o being simplistic), and intuitive RSS reader. Although it took a bit of time, Im glad to see the app updated to include new iOS features, especially Safari View Controller. Now the app fits all my current needs.
